Two awards are available to recognize individuals with a distinguished record of securing external funding for any one or a combination of research, outreach, and/or training activities. Faculty in state-funded and grant-funded positions with distinguished records of achievement are eligible to win these awards once every three years. Faculty members may nominate any other faculty member(s) or themselves.
09/10/12 - Nominations are now being accepted for the annual Faculty Distinguished Research and Creative Activities Awards. Two awards are available to recognize individuals with a distinguished record of securing external funding at UWF. The external funding may be for research, outreach, and/or training activities. At least one of these two awards will recognize an Assistant or Associate Professor with seven or fewer years of service at UWF whose record of external funding demonstrates outstanding achievement and significant future promise. In addition, two awards are available to recognize individuals with a distinguished record of scholarly and/or creative activities at UWF. At least one of these two awards will recognize an Assistant or Associate Professor with seven or fewer years of service at UWF whose record of scholarly and/or creative activities demonstrates outstanding achievement and significant future promise.
