It is the policy of UWF that all educational, training or research activities involving human subjects, at any UWF campus or by any UWF faculty, staff or student, must be reviewed and approved by the IRB prior to the initiation of data collection. Please allow 4-6 weeks for IRB review.
Members of the IRB are available to discuss the responsibilities of the IRB and researchers at department or organization meetings. If you would like to schedule a member of the IRB for a presentation, contact the IRB administration at 473-7111, e-mail irb@uwf.edu or contact a member of the IRB directly.
