We are pleased to announce the Common Experience theme for 2011-2012: "Science, Ethics and Moral Courage," which will begin with the book, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, by Rebecca Skloot. This year, SDSU is working fervently to make the common experience theme relevant to a much wider range of courses, with interdisciplinary themes and greatly expanded instructional resources developed collaboratively with a regional consortium of universities, colleges, high schools, museums and community groups.
